Synopsis here!
The mighty citadel is buzzing in anticipation of the Prince’s birthday celebrations. But Arthur’s old adversary, Odin, promises to ensure this is one party Camelot will never forget – for among the assembling guests lurks a deadly assassin set to strike. As the dust settles, Camelot is left devastated. Just how far is Merlin prepared to go to put things right; would he really risk everything and reveal his secret?

The Darkest Hour Part Two Overnights

The overnight ratings for The Darkest Hour- Part Two have been released. The episode got 5.54 million viewers, up 200k on last week's premiere from 8.05pm to 8.50pm. These are pretty impressive ratings, considering that Merlin was directly up against The X Factor on ITV1. It seems that as last year, Merlin will be the BBC's popular alternative on Saturday nights...

Series Four Reviews Accumulator

A new feature here is the series four reviews accumulator, where I'll be posting reviews each Sunday of the previous day's episode. Here's the first review, of the opening episode:
The Darkest Hour- Part One: Merlin series four kicks off with a dark, scary episode. The tone feels much more mature, with some proper scares (all from the Doracha, ghosty spirits which chill the life out of people.) All the actors raise their game, with Colin Morgan and Bradley James standing out. The Knights of the Round Table aren't given much to do, but I'm sure that they will as the series progresses. The episode climaxes with a big cliffhanger, only to be spoiled by the trailer. Oh well :)
The Darkest Hour Part Two review will be coming today or tomorrow..
